Most recently, Rikul has spent over 16 years focusing on Mutual insurance, initially at Charles Taylor Limited and then with Regis Mutual Management Limited, both specialists in creating and managing mutuals in the UK and Australia.

Rikul specialises in the creation, management, operation and run-off of discretionary and hybrid mutuals. During his time at Regis, he held the roles of Account Director, Mutual Manager, General Manager for Regis’s largest discretionary mutual and UK Head of Claims. Though historically encompassing all aspects of mutual insurance, the focus during the recent past has been on viability assessments of new prospects, client onboarding and the design/creation of new mutual operating models.
