Anne is a senior solicitor with extensive experience of the legal aspects of the formation, management and operation of mutual entities, and commercial and maritime litigation and arbitration.
Anne was admitted as a solicitor in 1981, was an assistant solicitor with Holman Fenwick & Willan in London (maritime and international trade litigation and arbitration) and was a partner with Paul Davidson Taylor in West Sussex (commercial litigation).
From 2014 to 2022, Anne was Head of Legal Services for Regis Mutual Management, a company which specialised in the formation, management and operation of discretionary and hybrid discretionary mutuals in the UK and Australia, including mutuals for the public sector.
Her work with Regis and its mutual clients included: constitutional, legal and tax issues affecting mutuals; preparing constitutional documents, rules and management agreements for existing and prospective mutuals; drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, confidentiality agreements, underwriting agreements and binding authority agreements; advising on the content of member documents and marketing materials, and dealing with complex claims by mutual members.
